Robert E. Bopp is the initiator, co-founder and board member of the patient organization CFD Foundation e.V., a non-profit association that has been informing doctors and patients about the very rare autosomal recessive metabolic disease Cerebral Folate Transport Deficiency (ICD-10: G31.8) since 2015. He organises conferences, and publishes and lectures on CFD/CFTD. He has 25+ years of international experience in strategy and management consulting. He is currently working for a BIG 4 global auditing and consulting firm, advising banks on the consequences of climate change and the implementation of ESG aspects. He studied in Mainz, Stuttgart, Boston and Paris and holds an M.S. in Multinational Commerce (Boston, USA) and an M.A. in International Relations and Diplomacy (Paris, France). He is married with three children.
