Dr. Juanita Haagsma is Assistant Professor at the Department of Public Health of the Erasmus MC University Medical Center in Rotterdam, The Netherlands. Juanita’s career has evolved around epidemiology, outcome measurement, health-related quality of life, and burden of disease methods research. She is the principal investigator of several international studies that aim to investigate health-related quality of life, well-being and/or health preferences. Juanita is chair of the Working Group Non-Communicable Diseases and Injuries and chair of the Task Force Rare Diseases of the European Burden of Disease Network.
