Frédérique Ries Member of the European Parliament, Renew Europe, Belgium Frédérique Ries has been a Member of the European Parliament since 1999 and represents the Mouvement Reformateur in the Renew Europe Group. She is a Member of the Committee on the Environment, Public Health and Food Safety (ENVI) and is Vice-Chair of Renew Europe. A journalist and former Secretary of State for European and Foreign Affairs, she is committed to public health policy in Europe. She is a co-author of the 2017 Resolution on the EU’s Response to HIV/AIDS, Tuberculosis and Hepatitis C, and co-hosted HIV Outcomes roundtable in 2019.
