Dr. Petia Stratieva is a Medical Doctor in Immunology and Ph.D. in Molecular Biology.
She has various experience in Healthcare, starting her career as an Academic Researcher and moving to the Pharmaceutical Industry afterwards.
She is an Accomplished Professional from the Healthcare & Pharmaceutical Industry
With 20 years experience from Leadership various national and international roles with focus on strategy building and implementation, policy & Advocacy and governmental affairs.
Dr. Stratieva has developed her career while living with progressive vision lost caused by an inherited retinal degeneration.
In 2018 she has created Retina Bulgaria Association.
Currently, she is a Patient Advocate, Policy Manager with Retina International and ePAG at ERN-EYE, member of several Working and Transversal Working Groups: Genetic Diagnostics, Low Vision and patients Daily Live, Research and Registries TWG, etc.
Her focusis on Patient’s Data Generation, PROMs, Patient’s involvement in Policy and Advocacy.
