Oscar R. Lozano, was born in Valencia, Spain, in 1967. He received the Bachelor´s degree in Chemistry from the University of Valencia and, later, Ph.D. degree in Science Teaching from the same University.
After seven years working in different multinational chemistry companies (from Spain, Netherlands and France) in 2001 starts teaching STEM subjects in several Spanish high schools as civil servant. In 2016 becomes Teacher Training Consultant at the regional Ministry of Education of Valencia (CEFIRE-STEM) where currently stills develops his main job, managing the STEM in service training of primary and secondary teachers.
At the same time, from 2006 to 2008, lectures Oenology Chemistry in Universidad Politécnica de Valencia as Associated Professor. In 2012, starts lecturing Science Teaching at Universidad de Valencia as Associated Professor where currently stills develops this activity.
In addition to his university academic activity (research in Science Teaching with publications in journals and books) he has developed several Erasmus+ activities, mainly as coordinator in several cooperation partnerships for innovation in school education projects, all of them based on in improving inclusive education through technology (computer aid, 3D printing). Also, he has participated as partner in projects focused in supporting policies development and cooperation for improving STEM teachers career.
